HellermannTyton Corporation offers two versions of Tagprint labeling software for efficient computer generated labeling. Tagprint for Windows and Tagprint II are both ideal for creating labels for wire and cable marking, p.c. boards and components, terminal blocks, and almost any industrial identification application. Tagprint for Windows and Tagprint II are IBM compatible. Both versions of Tagprint can be used with dot matrix and laser printers, as well as HellermannTyton's TT1000 thermal transfer printer. Easy to use, HellermannTyton's software speeds production, while offering many labeling options. Bar coding, serialization, label sets, and text choices are just some of the capabilities of HellermannTyton's Tagprint software.

Requirements IBM PC, PS/2 or compatible with at least a 286 microprocessor. Microsoft DOS 3.3 or higher and Microsoft Windows 3.1 or later. IBM VGA or other graphic adapter supported by Windows. Mouse support by Windows. At least 4MB of RAM. At least 2MB of free space on the local hard disk. A 3.5 inch disk drive for installation. A printer with device driver for Windows 3.1. Tagprint for Windows Labeling Software

Tagprint for Windows provides many features for labeling versatility and efficiency.

WYSIWYG: "What You See Is What You Get" label creation. The label is shown on the screen for easy editing and proofing. Graphic images appear, as well as representations of type styles, sizes and placement.

Preview: View a sheet of labels at one time.

Serial Numbers: Alpha and numeric options include decimal, octal, and hexidecimal capabilities. Most serial configurations increment automatically. Custom options are available to meet special requirements.

Random Access: Allows easy data entry for labels that have different information on each label.

Graphics: Windows-created graphics can be printed.

Bar Codes: Code 39, Interleaved 2/5, UPC-A, and EAN standard bar codes are offered. All bar code dimensions can be altered to fit on various sized labels and printed with or without text. High density bar codes with sharp, clear imaging can be produced when using a laser printer, HellermannTyton's TT1000, or TT10SM thermal transfer printer.

Fonts: Uses the Window's True Type fonts for a wide choice of sizes.

Label Sets: Prints multiple sets for group repetition.

External Field: Separate ASCII data bases can be accessed. Both fixed and free formats are read.

Time/Date Functions: If desired, Tagprint for Windows prints time and date of label printing. Time and date are continually updated during the printing process, so there is no need to stop for changes.

Complete Storage Capacity: Once a label is created, it can be stored in any directory or file and is automatically sorted for easy recall.

Printers: Prints to laser and dot matrix printers, along with HellermannTyton's TT1000 and TT10SM thermal transfer printers.

Unlimited Label Stock Sizes: All standard Tabtag label sizes appear on Tagprint for Windows, but non-standard sizes can easily added to the label data base.

The table window allows rows and columns of data to be entered into the table for easy label printing. External files can also be read into the table file for viewing and printing.

Tagprint II Labeling Software

Like Tagprint for Windows, Tagprint II software offers labeling efficiency and versatility. Tagprint II runs on any IBM compatible computer with DOS 2.1 or later. Easy to use, no prior computer experience is needed to create, save, and store label files.

As in Tagprint for Windows, Tagprint II offers: WYSIWYG ("What You See Is What You Get" label creation), Graphics, Label Sets, External Field, Time/Date Functions, Complete Storage Capacity, Unlimited Label Stock Sizes, and Customer Support.

Various Text Sizes: Six standard sizes can be printed, from 5 characters per inch (c.p.i.) to 17 c.p.i. With the smaller text sizes, greater amounts of information can be placed on the small labels. Larger text sizes can make the label readable from a distance.

Automatic Centering: Inputted information is automatically centered on the Tabtag label. Information can also be moved to very specific coordinates on the label.

Mouse support: Tagprint II can be used with or without a mouse.

Printers: Prints to laser and dot matrix printers, along with HellermannTyton's TT1000 thermal transfer printer.
