Static Free Labels HellermannTyton's static free labels are made from a specially formulated paper and adhesive and can be used in the electronics industry, where critical handling of static sensitive devices makes ESD (electro static discharge) a major concern. Static free labels are used in clean room applications or anyplace where unwanted static discharge can cause damage to sensitive components. HellermannTyton static free labels can typically dissipate an electrical charge in .01 to .18 seconds. By comparison, a standard paper label can hold the same charge for 60 to 100 seconds. Reference the following Tabtags in static free material (SF1) for more information on static free labels: TAG11-SF1, TAG13-SF1, TAG15-SF1.
