Rulon materials are used in bearing and seal applications from temperature extremes of -400°F to over 500°F with and without additional lubricants They also have the unique property of the absence of stick slip, i.e. erratic low speed motion. Fillers are ceramic in nature so mating surfaces should be RC 35 or harder.
