Pipe made from this resin is strong and has very good chemical resistance. Fittings (not currently available from Acutech) can be attached by a variety of methods, including socket fusion and IR welding. Copolymer resin is used to manufacture pipe up to a 6" size. This gives the material additional impact resistance, making it less brittle. Larger pipe is made from a homopolymer resin for improved I.D. surface. Flame-retardant, UV stable and static dissipative pipe is available on a custom basis.
