PCTFE® offers a unique balance of mechanical, chemical and electrical properties that are not available in any other material.The versatility of PCTFE allows its properties to be modified over a wide range, depending on manufacturing conditions. Because it offers high compressive strength and dimensional stability, PCTFE is a good structural material. It also is ideal for instrumentation and laboratory applications, since it has low permeability and outgassing. Its cold-flow characteristics are lower than other fluoropolymers, and it won't deform under load at room temperature.
